Sesh™

Contents

The founders of Sesh.com chose 'Sesh' as the name for their company because more than any other word, it best exemplified their vision of providing a fun, revolutionary new way for people to easily get-together online and communicate in a way never before possible. Thanks to Sesh™, web browsing no longer has to be a lonely experience!

On Sesh.com, the word 'Sesh' is used in many ways. It refers to the website Sesh.com and also the company Sesh, Inc. But 'Sesh' is also used as a noun, verb, and even an adjective, and generally refers to the act of using the Sesh.com service to get together with your friends in a Sesh™ room to surf and discuss the web together.

Sesher

Refers to anyone in a Sesh™, including the room owner and the invited guests. All Seshers are equal participants in a Sesh™ and can make drawing actions to communicate with each other, or can scroll the page or navigate everyone to a new webpage.

Registered Sesher

A registered Sesher has an account with Sesh.com and has created a permanent room. However, a registered Sesher may be an invited guest (i.e. 'guest Sesher') in another friend's room. While in the friend's room, the Sesher may still sign in and access his personal account. A registered Sesher can use advanced account features such as the Friends List, check who's online, import friends from Facebook or webmail, and have Sesh™ send email and mobile text invitations which include your room URL.

Guest Sesher

'Guest Sesher' refers to one of two things: (1) an invited guest in someone else's Sesh™ room; or (2) a registered user in a temporary one-time use Sesh™ room.

Sesh room

The Sesh™ room is where all the action happens. It is located at the URL chosen by the room owner (typically a variation of the room owner's name, such as www.sesh.com/dan). Seshers meet in a room, and view and discuss webpages together in the room. A room is created by a room owner when he signs up with Sesh™.

Permanent room

If a room owner registers with Sesh™ by providing his email address, then the room is permanent, and can be returned to at any time in the future by simply going to the URL assigned to the room (which is typically a variation of the owner's name).

Temporary room

However, if the room owner does not register with Sesh™ (e.g., he or she opens a temporary or anonymous Sesh room on www.sesh.com or from a partner website), then the user is provided a temporary room, which cannot be returned to after the Sesh™ is over. Although Sesh™ allows users to create as many temporary rooms as they like, we recommend repeat Seshers provide their email address to register for a permanent room so that they and their friends can bookmark it and use it as a regular meeting place for a Sesh™.
